A real hidden AOR treasure, this self-titled album by the Canadian group Alliance was released on LP in 1982, and is quite hard to find these days. This is straightforward AOR/soft rock with noticable LA influences, akin to Franke & the Knockouts and Player. Highly recommended!
Sad that this brilliant release never has been re-issued on CD. Would be great for many fans of early west coast music.

Great lp on cd for the first time. 'Retrospect records' are a label who pirate hundreds and hundreds of ultra rare most wanted cd's the world over and actively auction them on ebay as 'vegascds' but this is a genuine release as far as I know. They seem to crack a few deals on genuine distribution, then get on with the piracy. Who cares? People want the music! Ebay's minions are too busy taking down other listings where somebody includes a cdr recording of a vinyl they are selling. Rock on retrospect. You guys are liked
I've purchased it through Sam McCaslin's label (Retrospect) and the sound is 5 times better at least. Pure WestCoast/AOR delight. Not to be missed.
