Some rather nice tunes unfortunately nobody cared for in '83. "The Border" was a minor hit. No "Inspector Mills" or "You can do magic" on this record but a sweet collection of pleasing songs courtesy of Russ Ballard fame.
If you're looking for something to listen to but have nothing in particular in mind, America has always been a safe bet. Take this album for instance. Back in '83, the only song I remember that received any significant amount of air play was The Border. Like most of their other albums, all the tracks have something to offer. Among my other favorites here are She's a Runaway, Cast the Spirit and Tonight is for Dreamers but really, there's no track here that can be considered bad. The problem with this album was that it was released at the time when new wave was becoming popular. I'd say a lot of people missed out on a very good thing.
