First of all, please do not confuse Mark-Almond with Marc Almond (ex Soft Cell). Mark-Almond is the duo unit comprising of Jon Mark and Johnny Almond. This duo released 4 albums with CBS in early 70's and disbanded once. In 1976, they restarted their collaboration and moved to United States to release "To The Heart" with abc Records. Tommy Lipuma, a great producer offered them to release an album under Horizon, Tommy's own label. As shown on the album jacket, this album's mood is a European-flavored sophisticated jazzy night music, which is a little bit similar with those of Michael Franks.
