Sherwood Ball - for many most known by 2 things: Either As a singer of the Jay Graydon All Star Band with a very interesting voivce not so far away from the early creamy voice of Michael Bolton! Or as a relative to Ernie Ball - manufacturer of guitar strings and guitar plectrums!(I'm still laughing to my memories of thsoe first releases of his solo-CD's which featured - yes You're absolutely right: A guitar plectrum from Ernie Ball!) Sherwood Ball got a very interesting voice, but most of the material and arrangements on his solo-CD's is just too weak! (Neither wasn't his voice so good on his Jay Graydon all Stars-tour! He couldn't reach those high notes as on the Jay Graydon-CD! Way back then - those were the days anyway!)
