Bill Cantos released the album "Love Wins", subtitled "new standards for the new millenium". Do not misunderstand. This brand new album features 13 of Bill’s original songs in the style of classic standards, passionate and smooth. Bill explains about this: "I truly love music, all kinds; I love what it does, how it makes you feel, how it reaches people. So many of the songs I end up coming back to time after time are the ones, well-known and obscure, that have come to be known as 'standards'. I'm not trying to be presumptuous in calling the songs on this CD 'new standards' - just opposite. It's my way of paying tribute to all the great music, classic songs, and amazing writing that's before me. And just like that music is a part of me, I hope these songs become part of you...". Lastly, you should note that Bill revisited 2 songs from his first solo release "Who Are You" (1995) in more jazzy style; "Who Are You" and "Go 'Way Moon".
Bill Cantos is the most talented singer/keyboard player/composer to come along in decades. Every song in this album is his own (sans one) & you won't be able to decide which one you like best! His talent goes way beyond norm, his style, passion & intonation is perfect. These songs are ones you will have running around in your head they are so good! His versatility is beyond wonderful. Where oh where have you been Bill Cantos? We have needed you for so long! Buy this CD, people! If you are a fan of real music, this is for you! Quick, buy it now!
