An awesome debut of singer/songwriter Gavin DeGraw. Sounds like a mix of Maroon 5 and John Mayer to me. The Titletrack "Chariot" and the first single "I Don't wanna Be" are fantastic songs!
Gavin Degraw's CD Chariot is the type of CD that you can listen to over and over again. Its fusion of different genres allows this CD to appeal to a wide range of audiences and demographics. The songs tell a story of love and love lost and gives you the feeling that you are actually walking in his shoes. Although the beats are great, Gavin's voice and writing ability are the selling points for this CD. This is evident when you listen to the stripped version which is an acoustic set of all his songs. This added CD alone is enough reason to purchase this CD.
I think this is awful and should not be on this site together with all the other prof musicians. The sound is bad, and I fall asleep, when I hear the singer. Jude Cole is way better, when it comes to this kind of easy listening music.
