This is a very intimate recording featuring their piano / voice duo performance. Needless to say, David Sancious is one of the most highly versatile keyboardist, everything from classical to rock, jazz, blues, and funk, usually keeps busy backing someone such as Sting, Peter Gabriel and Bryan Ferry.They revisit Robbie's own favourite songs. "Carried Away", the title track of his 3rd album (1989) would open this gentle and calm album and is followed by "Month Of Sundays" from the album "Smoke And Mirrors" (1995) and then "Walls Come Down" from the album "Waalking On Water" (1993) .The heart-felt tune, "This is Life" (from the album "Carried Away") should be the highlight of this album. "Desperation" from his 2nd album "Street Corner Heroes" might please you. The album also includes another each from Robbie's 90's album: - "Return To Her" from the album "Walking On The Water", "Wings" from the album "Smoke And The Moirror" and "In Real Life" from the ablum "Carried Away". Last but not least, The album is closed by the brand new song "Sunny Day" written by Robbie and David Sanscious.
