First-class Comeback of the "Mr. Westcoast". Nice Songs with excellent Musicians.Buy it

My oh my I couldn't wait to have this CD running on my player... last release with complete new bunch of songs was Smoke & Mirrors in '95. Was it worth the wait? Yes it definitely was! I dare say this is his best release along with the definite masterpiece "Walking on Water". Critics may say Robbie makes new versions of old songs like Chris Rea did for years and years, but fans of adult cont. radio will absolutely ADORE them without exception. Songs like "Lucky" or "Sugar Tree" bring tears of joy to my eyes. "Secret Love" sounds like legendary band Crackin' in the 21st century (no wonder courtesy of former members Chudacoff and Bunetta ;-)...). "Sugar Tree" cut have been penned by Don Fagan. All along you get song art never to be bettered. To get into Robbie Dupree music you have to take some time to explore its beauty. But it's an absolute treat if you do. No matter what comes next: this is my very own release of the year!

no other song it's better that "steal away", left the stair very high

With former E Street Band keyboards player David Sancious on board, Dupree delivers a fine piece of work. Smooth and jazzy, like a mixture of Christopher Cross and Donald Fagen.
