Not an album with great musical achievement, but still a very good album. Especially the song "Hot Rod Hearts", it is one of my favorite westcoast songs ever. "Steal Away" and "Lonely Runner" is also very good songs that stick to your mind after hearing them. Recommended!
I bought this album way back in December of '81 for Hot Rod Hearts. All the tracks on this one are great although some are better than others. Of course the two that headlined this album are Steal Away and Hot Rod Hearts. Try listening to Thin Line, It's a Feeling and Love is a Mystery. Those three "non-hits" make this album worth having. Another definite must-have.
well, IMO this is one of the best westcoast albums ever made, I personally like every single song from here, and this is in fact the best robbie dupree album ever. If you like this one, check out Bill Labounty's self titled record from 1982, and Michael McDonald's solo debut, wich are in the same style.
