This is the only one solo album of Brian Elliot, one of the singer / songwriter who has the soft & mellow and free-soul feeling. In late 70's, many soft & mellow city-pop style albums strongly influenced by Boz Scaggs' "Silk Degrees" were released. Brian's solo album deserves one of the masterpiece albums among them. If you like Kenny Lankin, try this album too. For your information, Brian wrote 1986 # 1 hit tune "Papa Don't Preach" performed by Madonna.
This is a great album. Brian har a very personal and great voice. The songs "Letīs just live togheter" and "Tickets to Rio" are pure magic.
Brian Elliot has truly one of westcoat's best nicest voices! It's relaxed and in the same time groovy. It reminds me of Donald Fagen sometime. The album has some really good tunes. Especially "Queen Of Clowns (One For Lily T.)" and "Room To Grow". Classic songs with a smooth disco-feel to them.
