Randy Edelman is mostly known as a soundtrack composer but in the 70’s he was also a solo performer. The album opens with “Don’t Let Go Of Me“ that features a typical Westcoast groove. But this is the exception and not the rule. The other songs tend to be a bit more singer/songwriter like. Randy Edelman’s pleasant voice and excellent piano play sometimes remind me of Elton John, especially on the beautiful ballads “Thirty Years Old (Mom)“ and “My Heart Got in The Way “. Another highlight is the title track. So give it a try.
