This album is unfortunately often overlooked. Yet it's not the best album in the WC-genre, but some tracks are amazing. Just listen to Bernard Purdies drums on Eldorado escape. The drums on that track is probably some of the best drumming I have ever heard.
Whatīs good on this album is REALLY good. This is a kind of Steely Dan "light" album. Many of the songs are in the Dan spirit with great harmonies and impeccable arrangement.Fagen do appear as background vocalist on one song. It surely deserves itīs place in a westcoasters record collection. The good thing is that you still can find it on the web.As always, you never know for how long, soo get it while you can.
