I like his songs, but I'd be more delighted if he had recorded them with Glenn Shorrock and folks ;-)... the songs are classic LRB (may I say so or is that illegal?) apart from the man's voice. "Rather be with you" is so sweet, it'll make you fall in love with your wife again. But there was a huge discussion amongst the fans over "Someone's stolen our history", where you get Glenn's voice. The song is about the legal procedures with Stephen Housden carrying the sole trade mark "LRB". He fought Goble, Shorrock and Birtles using the name "LRB". Very sad affair. If I had my way they came together cus it takes the whole band to sound like LRB. This CD is nice to hear, nothing more nothing less.
