This album is a great West Coast-album! Clear and crisp sound with the voices og Steve George, Richard Page and Tom Kelly in the background makes a superb mix of songs. I especially like "I Wonder what you're like"; typical wc-sound...almost as good as Pages' '81 album!
To be honest, Id on't like very much this album, it sounds too jazzy and not enough westcoast. Don't hope to find catchy chorus on this album. The only good point is the top musicians playing on it especially the Porcaro grooves.
I agree with Tore. This is a great album and if you listen carefully itīs nothing but "westcoast" if you analyze the chord clusters and changes.Really classy and defenitely not too Jazzy (wow ,what a sloogan ! ).Robert Kraft has really done his homework on this one.I actually think this album is an overlooked one and deserves more recognition
hello its me, like the song of todd, anyway, great musica on this album, but really don't win my attention much
This album is so-so. His first, "Robert Kraft & the Ivory Coast: Moodswing," is more exciting, funny & interesting. Used to see his band perform in small clubs in NYC's Village in the 70s-80s. "Moodswing" holds up.
