I do not like this album so much. The music is on form but I could not listen to a lot of the songs as even after a lot of time, it was hard to adapt to this style. It was a big difference to the AOR pop I knew and was into at the time. Still, it may well be worth getting for you and there are some good songs with very cool musical parts. I can't help but be reminded of 'proud' (joe chemay band) when i hear the chorus to 'try' but it is a decent song. I would personally much more recommend marlene's slightly later album 'looking for love' which is very good and one of my favorites. Looking for love is more paradise pop/rock sounding which is what I'm more into whereas I'm not sure wht you call this, maybe its more jazz type music. It is weird and interesting one but not one for my permanent collection personally
