If you liked the first Michael McDonald "Motown"-album from last year you will not be disappointed. McDonald delivers some of Motown's greatest moments in his own blue-eyed soul style. "You're all I need to get by" is first class, but there are no dull moments on the CD overall. Stevie Wonder gives a helping harmonica on his own "I was made to love her" and Toni Braxton returns in a beautiful duet on "Stop, Look, Listen (to your heart)". Whether you are a fan of old Motown or a fan of Michael McDonald, you should treat yourself to a copy of this CD.
this.the most wonderful voice.in music today and forever.thanks mike.to some many years of wonderful music.
A great followup to Mike's first Motown tribute recording. Featuring Stevie Wonder on harmonica (on his own "I Was Made...), Billy "The Fifth Beatle" Preston) in what is probably his last appearance on an album and Toni Braxton in a great duet... But why isn't Mike playing the keyboards like he did way back when?
