2 LP's On One CD (Nielsen⁄Pearson & Blind Luck).
One of my favorite westcoast albums. All the songs are really good, and the musicians too.
I bought the album in vinyl when it first came out in '83. I got my cd (their two albums in one cd) sometime in '01 or '02. This is one of the finer AOR albums of all time. Hasty Heart, I Hear You Breathing, Sentimental, Too Good to Last and Got Me Where You Want Me are my favorites here. In fact, even though it's just a cover version of the David Roberts' original, I prefer Nielsen Pearson's rendition of Too Good to Last. A must-have in any West Coast/AOR collection.
Sparkling production and some great songs. Includes a cover of David Roberts' "Too good to last" although this particular cover attempt was never a big highlight for me as I thought it was a bit lifeless in the vocal sound/performance. Also check out their s/t 1980 album as it is just as good or better even if the songs don't stand out as much as Blind Luck upon first listen. Overall two enjoyable very 'westcoast' albums
top 10 westcoast classic!!don`t miss it!!
