I'd long been meaning to get this cause I always remembered Kenneth bremmer of blue desert had described it as one of the real early 80's classics. It just happened to be one that I could'nt locate as easily on sealed vinyl until recently. It certainly has lived up to the hype. This album doesn't have any weak song. O'Banion has a nice voice and these are some songs sung with sincerity. Nice songs from what sounds like a good chap. Always a shame to hear of people passing away, and John was not so old, but he's left with this, an album that is not only first class, but also with a good sense of love to it. And I picked that up after only one listen. Otherwise it is one of those albums where it will grow and grow on you for a long time. Lovely back cover too. O'banion all kitted out in some nice casuals against a pink background. For the ladies John! Peace.

by the way, 'Just walk away Renee'.. the chorus sounds JUST like the chorus to a 1988 song 'Don't walk away Suzanne' by a rather commercially successful euro-dance/pop group called "Bad Boys Blue" who some of you might remember

I'm sorry to come back and write a third note on this album. It's very clumsy, but I kind of reviewed it prematurely last week, cause I wanted something to write about and I'd just got it. I have to do this cause Although I was very much enjoying it last week I can now see this is a total classic. Thanks Kenneth Bremer & and Martin for promo'ing me this record, It's not going anywhere from my westcoast vinyl bible. This album is vintage westcoast joy
