I have waited for this record to appear on this site. Contains the smash "Love takes time", one of my all time faves, and many other great songs such as the slow bossa "Isn't it easy" and the jazzy "Everybody needs some music". After the separation of John Hall the band tried to leave the old folk ties to mix elements of blues, jazz, gospel, even Southern Rock, to a radio friendly sound, that really pleases the ear. "Slippin' away" is a brilliant piece of adult contemporary rock. Great! In my mind they never sounded better.
