It was a complete surprise to hear that Orleans would get together again for a new CD. It's been ten years ago but the surprise is still there ;-)... overall great songs that make this CD a very pleasant affair. OK, you've heard "If We Never Meet Again" before. "Looking For The Light" was included on Larry Hoppen's effort and you recognised "Earth out tonight" from the John Halll Band, but that didn't disturb much. So what can you expect after 86's Nashville release called "Grown up children"? Still Country flavoured pop 'n roll with hightlights "Yestertime" and "The Great Divide", smooth reggaeish "Heaven" and the other songs that still appeal. Would like more of that, but John Hall is now doing politics and won't have too much time to record, sad to say.
