Jim Photoglo is one of those acts that came out in the early eighties, and never really caught on. He had a couple of minor hits in "Fool in Love with You," and "We Were Meant to Be Lovers," but he was never a household word. It's a shame. While he is not the best vocalist to ever hit the airwaves, Jim has a pleasant and sensitive delivery, and he had the David Gates kind of songwriting ability, along with the white soul of Michael McDonald. Anyway, this is a good samplilng of Jim's work. Along with the two melodic hits, he does a nice job on "Faded Blue," which later became a hit for Gary Morris. All the songs are nice and relaxing, and I enjoyed this CD immensely. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.
