Give this to anyone if they aren't convinced that westcoast is cool. I dare say it is really one of the best cd's you are ever going to hear. I'd be interested to check out the different tracks 'I will be loving you' and 'Ever After Love' on the regional versions (Dreamers is great). I got Clif Magness' Solo album from 1994 too (sounds very similar in production). For me it definately did'nt live up to this, but there were some moments on Solo where I'd hear the magical feeling of Planet 3 like dreams fade away for example (check out the sample page of clif magness 'solo' to hear a sample of that song). "Planet 3 - music from the planet" is a must have masterpiece album for any kind of music collection. If you haven't got it - don't wait. Just in case you did'nt know you can get it directly through the www.jaygraydon.com website for 16 us dollars. Best 16 dollars I ever spent

I heard that Capitol Records did get Graydon, Ballard & Magness together too write materiale to the group "Heart" that the record label were going to introduce to the market again. The material was never used, since the three guys decided to release it themselves. Not sure it this is true, but it is a good story :-) You can also hear some of the same music style at the Wilson Philips albums. Many of their songs was composed by Magness & Ballard.

Great Westcoast/AOR album , Top 10 ever made. The japanese version is the release to get since the last song is the true Planet 3 sound of Magness/Ballard/Graydon.

A great cd. I recently got the 92 sweden version after a long time looking. Maybe it's not very rare in that country but it never seemed to be on ebay or elsewhere in yrs. Anyway, I like the cover art best to this one, even though some people would probably say the Japan art is best or even the US remaster, though basic, has a charm. Anyway, this album is old news to most fans maybe and maybe most have heard all countries versions (as each countries version contained a different 10th song) but to anyone else..the 92 Sweden sony cd sounds basically as great as the 2002 remaster. Not what I was expecting. The Graydon remaster is possibly slightly improved if you had to review them, but almost it sounds as if this 'didn't need any remastering' as you hear people say of albums. Furtherly, the song "Ever after love" is an upbeat & very westcoast song that makes a refreshing alt ending to the album. Even if the other '10th songs' are excellent, Ever after love is very different cause it's Bill Cantos not Magness singing and it's great that you immediatelly feel in early 80's westcoast territory with this song for the ending. Anyway, this is a great album and the songs 7 and 8 are just two amazing moments. Through a lyric no.8 is cleverly linked to no.7 (a song refferring to the WW2 nuclear bombing of Japan). This directs to what the song is. What a song. Also ballads like "I Don't Want To Say Goodnight" are first class examples of music, or practically any song you pull up from this album will blow you away in some way. A classic cd. Really in a league of it's own. Think Airplay meets Think out Loud in an attempt to describe this great music. Also check out clif magness' album entitled 'Solo' from 1994 if you like as it sounds similar and has great songs such as 'Dreams Fade Away' that sound just like planet 3 continued

just to add, my brother says I want my ears cleaned out if I can't hear how much better the remastered version is.
