Imagine you have written a bunch of really, really good songs. Imagine you can use the best musicians in the world.Imagine during recording ,youŽll happen to catch all the musicians at their absolute best.Imagine that your name happens to be David Roberts from Canada.Well...then youŽve just recorded a milestone album in the Westcoast history. Here youŽll find top quality songwriting, musicianship and arrangement way beyond the ordinary. This is an amazing album, and hopefully it will be re-released again someday in the near future.During the last couple of years weŽve really seen some obscure re-releases of Westcoast albums, but this one really deserves to be released again .This is an absolute must have album for any fan of Westcoast music. If I have to pick one song among all these amazing songs it has to be -Wrong Side Of The Tracks-. Wow... what else is there to say !!!! For me this is perhaps the best Westcoast album ever recorded
One of the best westcoast-albums! It blew me away the first time I heard it. I love the new re-release, great sound, great mini-vinyl version. This is a must-have!
Great Album. It's a fine production, very good lyrics, and obvioulsly, David Roberts sing wonderful. Highly recommended
This record is absolutley fantastic. Just received the new, mini-vinyl version from 2006 and I must say that's worth all the money i spend on it. Wonderful record and great sound. The Toto-guys and ofcours the other musicians does great jobs. Buy it!!
Wow! I remember when I first heard "Wrong Side Of The Tracks" and was blown away. Great stuff, Jeff rocks the shit.
One of the best Westcoast/AOR albums ever recorded without a doubt. Boys of Autumn, Wrong Side of the Tracks, Anywhere You Run to and Never Gonna Let You Go are my personal favorites. Phenomenal!!!
wow! This really takes me back... David Roberts was a better Christopher Cross.. I liked the song anywhere you run to.. Great stuff!
I write these words while listening to one of the best and of the most classical AOR albums of all time! David Roberst made a BIG mistake: he didn't record as much albums as the fans would have wanted. It's a real pity that nowadays this kind of music is ignored. Well, to bo honest, it has always been ignored. My God, what a musicianship: Jeff on the drums, Mike on the bass, Mike Boddiker & Greg Mathieson en the keys, Luke & Gryadon handle the guitars, and the backing vocals...What more could a west-coast/AOR fan expect?! Great music!
A fantastic album, and no less a fantastic guy. Dave Roberts is a genuine gentleman. He is a personal friend of mine, and i can honestly say there is nobody more mild and soft-spoken. Truly an example of talent and personality in perfect harmony. Dave ftmfw.
This the nr.1 record of west coast music. The totogroove beats TOTO IV. Even after 23 yeras this is my favourite.
