In 1983 I bought a synthesizer,a Roland Juno-60.Among itīs preset sound it had a fat punchy brass sound thatīs in the manual was called Mr.Briefcase.With that in mind I think You all can imagine how it sounded. For me,this was the first time I heard Eric Tagg. This is a great recorded created in that typical westcoast formula .And recorded during the golden era.A must have.Great music by great musicians playing real instruments (except for the classic Linn drum)This album was followed by Rit 2 .But thatīs a total different story........
Although more established in the Jazz-Fusion sector, Lee Ritenour released some cool Westcoast CD`s, this being one of them. The first 4 tracks feature the Excellent ERIC TAGG on vocals. As usual the cream of LA session guys appear. Check this one out!
