Michael Ruff is one of the most-gifted musicians and widely known as a "musician's musician" because of his unsurpassed creativity, and thus draws talented players and collaborators into his projects and performances. Michael continued to release his own projects / solo albums over the decade since his acclaimed first solo album "Once In A Life Time" produced by Tommy Lipuma for Warner Bros Records in 1984. In November, December 2005, Michael did his Scandinavian tour with "the tightest rhythm section ever" - Straitjacket; Marco Mendoza (bass/vocal), Joey Heredia (drums) and Renato Neto (keys) successfully. One is the studio album titled "Everything" recorded October 6-7-8 ,featuring Marco Mendoza, Joey Heredia, Renato Nato (keyboards) and James Harrah (guitar) with Olivia Ruff. "El Asador", a little Latin-flavor high energy jazz instrumental tune is the opener of this album. There are many tight groove tunes such as "Show The World" on this album. Michael rules!
