I've rediscovered this fantastic artist! I originally purchased this cd for "Payday" and "Ms Riddle", hoping that I would find more gems, and Boz didn't let me down. His smooth voice and great guitar makes this a must have cd for any music lover. This cd is always in my car cd player and takes me to work and back each day singing along. It is well worth it, so get it!!
In these times when we really need miracles to happen a few of our dreams seem to become fulfilled. Boz has teamed up with David Paich again. Remember, they did the classic “Silk Degrees” album together in the mid seventies. I was filled with expectations as I inserted this CD into my player. Well, he is back, that is for sure but it doesn’t sound like the 70’s at all. The sound is very modern, though the songs could have been from that era. A touch of blues, a little soul and a few jazzy parts brings back Boz to his roots. Let us hope that he stays in this area and keep making good albums. Personally I wouldn’t mind if the sound and arrangements leaned more towards the old school as well.
