Some albums get famous for their music, some for their album cover. For me this is an albumcover with some surprisingly good songs on it.All of a sudden it got released on CD in Australia due to the fact of a comercial (correct me if I´m wrong ) and went for very high prices on ebay.Thankfully it recently got released in the US and for everybody to buy at a resonable price. For all of us that watched the Police TV serie"Hill Street Blues" in the 80:ies,this music sounds familiar. The TV score was written by Mike Post and he´s in charge of the production on this album. And he has left his fingerprints all over the production , so if Belker steps out of the TV screen he will definitely get Post arrested for this album. It has a light touch of country feel, but it never gets to much.Good melodies and catchy hooks. And most of all-"They Don´t Make Album Covers Nowadays Like They Used To"- (Sounds almost like an album title by Kenny Rogers........)
