Given Ben's heritage, it's no suprise that he followed his folks into their line of work, and boy, is he good. On this album, Ben Taylor writes thoughtful lyrics, sings with a silver tongue, finger picks his way through the tracks in that oh-so-familiar fashion, and wraps it all up in an irresistable bundle of quiet melencholy. This collection is one of the purest and modestly easy going albums I have heard this year. This is Just Ben Being himself, and that's 'so' refreshing to hear in these days of over-produced pop.
