Highly, higly, highly recommended!! That's music! Great performers, great production and everything....Andrea Sanchini reaches the top and the other performers are simply talented. Taggiasco keeps the reins of it all with such a taste in music...
Marco Taggiasco's 2nd solo album "This Moment" became available at CD Baby. arly January of 2005, Marco Taggiasco, Italy based arranger and producer appeared in front of me with his first solo album "Thousand Things" recroded in Feb. 2004 featuring young gifted vocalist named Andrea Sanchini. You must be very excited to hear who participates in this forthcoming CD. Recording sessions have been done in Rome, Copenhagen and L.A. The album counts two unreleased tracks written by Eric Tagg and Eric is on the opening track as a lead vocalist, coming back in the studio after 10 years of absence! Among the special guests' names pops up, the one of David Pack, delivering an incredible performance on the title track "This Moment".The album also includes a remake of Orleans' oldie "You've Been Runnin'". Most of the tracks are performed again by Andrea Sanchinim whose voice and melodies reminds us of Eric Tagg's and Bill Cantos'.You will never be disappointed. Worth listening to sound clips and then buying. "I wanted the album to be representative of different sides of my work" - Marco explains - "and having such great talents performing on this record gave me the best chance to do it.They are the real stars in this project".
I like everything in this album. We can hear from contemporary soul to old L.A. school, from instrumental to melodic R&B and AOR: pure westcoast music at 360 degrees! Just wanted there were more tracks!!!
One of the best records of 2008. Great melodies and first class arrangements, not to mention the performers! Hear Eric Tagg singing on the first tune and David Pack on the title track! I also like the last song, it reminds me the sound of Toto at their best. Highly recommended.
I wanna thank this site for letting me know such a talented artist! Just got the CD... Great tracks and production, the kind of album I wanted to hear for years.
Great record! My favourites are: the title track, (classical Graydon/Foster style|), and April in My Heart. I also love track 1 with Eric Tagg... Merci beaucoup, monsieur Taggiasco!
