One of the best West Coast CDs ever! This is actually one CD that grows on you until it becomes worth all that money you paid for it on eBay! Thompson's guitar playing reminds me of Neal Schon's or Steve Lukather's, bluesy and full of feeling without all the trappings of blues cliches. Moon Calhoun's vocals are super smooth and echo a mix of Eric Martin and Cheap Trick's Robin Zander. This is an album that works best on those late night drives. Recommended!

Michael Thompson plays so good it breaks my heart. Moon has the warmest, most emotional sound in the world. Really cool.

Very rare CD of the session musician, High class Westcoast with great compositions. Supposedly soon appears a release.

I once had this splendid CD on vinyl (LP). And I wanna buy it, but I can't seem to find it here in Sweden, or Eurpoe ?? Can you please contact me as soon as you can ? It's one of the best records I've ever heard. Otherwise I am a huge fan of Toto, Journey, Dare (U.K), Bryan Adams, Celine Dion, Shania Twain and so forth. I want to order and buy this CD../ - Can you help me ?

This is awesome Westcoast AOR! I've always loved this CD by Michael Thompson Band. The combination of the smooth vocal of Moon Calhoun and emotional guitar playing of Michael Thompson. I'm a huge fan of the AOR genre and this CD represents it very well. I was wondering if you can get me a copy of this masterpiece CD? If so please contact me ASAP on this email address. Thank you!

Hey guys, this CD have been re-released on CD this month! (as of June 2007).

Fantastic cd! The best i have heard in several years.Moon Calhoun has the most beautiful voice with a remarkable falsetto (listen to the chorus at "can´t miss". Westcoast rockmusic when it´s best! This makes me think of Toto and Journey in the 80's... PURE HAPPINESS !!

This is a great release. Most songs are like a marriage of the westcoast and the melodic rock genre (both in the singing and the music/arrangements). It's full of outstanding solo's and I remember the first time I heard this LP every song stood out in some way or another and I didn't feel like skipping anything. It's definately one of top records of it's style. Generally I don't like a lot of the melodic rock AOR genre as I find, asides from being different, it misses something else that westcoast has, but like i say, the melodic rock songs here are mixed with a westcoast flavour, and then there are of course songs that are altogether much more 80's/westcoast, like the instantly catchy and cool atmospheric sounding 'Give Love a chance' or 'How Long'. The rocking guitar on the track 'Can't miss' reminds me of Dan Huff's guitar on the opening track for Giant's 2nd album Time to burn (91). The sound is great for the whole album. It's really good sounding. I just have a vinyl. One to put on the priority list if you haven't heard it

Gran disco de Aor/Westcoast. Lamentablemente sólo tengo el cd original y no la nueva reedición con temas extra (hay uno de Jeff Paris !!!). Muy recomendado !!!

If I had to keep only 3 CDs of westcoast music, this one would be into it !!! Masterfull playing and soaring melodies with the incredible voice of Moon Calhoun. Toto has "the seventh one" and Mike Thompson "How long" both are masterpiece in westcoast music.
