Patrick Leonard this time together with Richard Page .It´s a totally different concept ( according to me , that is ) from Toy Matinee, but what an amazing record! Freedom Road , Echo Hill, Family Tree...... What great songs sung by the best voice there is,Richard Page.If he only could make another solorecord!! Great collaboration of two great musicians and writers. A cool quirky CD, and a real departure from MR MISTER for Richard Page. Featuring the talents of Tim Pierce, guitarist for many years with Rick Springfield. Holiday for Sweet Louise and Family Tree are standout tracks. If you`re expecting MR MISTER,forget it, This is a stripped back affair. COOL CD....

3rd Matinee is a great project, more in the sound of similar groups like Rembrandts and maybe a litle bit like Patrick Leonard's further project Toy Matinee, than groups like Mr Mister and others. I have said it before and will say it over and over again: If I was working on a radio station and was responsible for the music that was played in the middle of the night/early in the morning, then I would have played THE WHOLE 3rd Matinee-album track by track! This is a very great pop album!

It's been 10 years since we last heard from Richard Page, and listening to this record breaks my heart for that reason. One of pop music's greatest songwriters and vocalists, on this album the former Pages and Mr. Mister frontman brings out his meditative and introspective sides. Truly the bastard child of Toy Matinee and Mr. Mister's unreleased (but very promising, even in mono) Pull album, this CD is a must for every fan of "adult pop" and good songwriting in general.

Trult a hidden treasure. The songs are mysterious but still full of emotion. After hearing it a couple of times the songs will not leave your mind. Page's voice is as good as ever. Too bad we don't hear more from him.

This album is reely great, nice harmonies and nice singing from Richard Page.

It's a great record. What else do you expect from Richard Page? He will always be number one to me.

I've only seen the lyric for "All the Way Home"; hearing the clip (above) from Richard Page brings to life a beautiful tribute to the late Jeff Porcaro. (As I understand it, Page wrote the lyrics not long after Jeff's funeral...). What an awesome way to remember a friend. This song has such gorgeous vocals and it just lilts. Is that Colaiuta on brushes???? ;-) What a tune! T
