At last, the real TOTO has come back! I dare to say that recent 2 TOTO's album "King Of Desire" and "Tambu" were a kind of heavy-metal missing good melodies and highly-sophistcated keyboard sounds without real professional lead singer. These albums were like the other band's works that should be called as Steve Lukather's Band. At the 20th anniversary year, Good-old TOTO's unreleased materials featuring Bobby Kimball and Joseph Williams. The music quality of unreleased materials (except recent live tracks) are really as high as any songs released in their good old albums.
After two previous albums (kingdom of desire & tambu) where Luke take the whole control, it's a real pleasure to hear this one. It's THE Toto sound with Jeff on all drums and Paich leadig the band with his melodic keyboards. Sad we'll have to wait their last CD "falling in between" to hear comparable things.
