This album is amzing.And above all, Vinnie Colaiuta is awesome on this album.Can You imagine this album without Vinnie´s driving force? Appearently Vinnie recorded Nightwalker and Pages 3rd album at the same time.One during daytime and the other during late hours into the night.Mr.Graydon wasn´t fully satiesfied with Vinnie´s performance on the PAGES album and called Jeff Porcaro to "fix" it.Porcaro replied after hearing Vinnie´s playing-What do You wan´t me to do that hasn´t already been done ?- At least that´s what I heard .Maybe someone can correct me if I´m wrong,please do if this is incorrect. After this album Gino recorded the mysterious-Twisted Heart-that got shelved by Arista.Only one single with two songs called BANDIDO and THE LONGER YOU WAIT was released as promotion for the album.Wouldn´t it be great to hear the TWISTED HEART album in the future??

AWESOME cd!!!! Santa Rosa is pure class,the instrumental dynamics in this track are a joy to behold! Gino has certainly surrounded himself with a stellar line-up as usual. One of his finest cds..BUY!

His best album with Brother to Brother following close behind. Every chord on this record is just perfect and the voice...oooh, the voice! :D

living inside myself, with no doubt is one of the master ballad of all, also "wheels of life", but "hurt to be in love" is simply ¡baad! another amasing songs is "summers of my life" "lady" "crazy life" "people i belong to". that's all

I always assumed Jeff Porcaro played on this album....speaks pretty highly of Colaiuta.

Canadian drummer/vocalist/songwriter Gino Vannelli moved to Los Angeles in the mid-seventies after landing a record deal with Herb Alpert’s A&M Records.
