joseph williams probably the best vocalist that toto ever had. this album is a mix of slow and fast tracks, the slow one sound be bit dated where playing on a hi-fi but are fine on a mp3or ipod. he slows at times like bobby kimball, this being his first album, you can see how thin he is, he has let go of myself over the years but his voice has got much better. the japanese and the dutch has been fans of his toto albums and the next two albums i'm alive and joseph williams 3 are more akin to toto . wish amazon stocked them as well. could never understand why the yanks don't like toto and joseph williams anymore. wish he returns to toto. please buy this cd you will love it es[pecially if you are a toto or richard marx fan.
I personally did not find this to be a great cd. Some songs are not bad and there is not a lot of difference to Williams' compared to how it sounded with toto but for me I really have not got to like any of the songs a great lot. I know many people talk highly of this album, but for me personally it didn't do much. I'm a really big fan of 80's westcoast but if anybody asked me about this album, I'd say 'spend your money elsewhere'. Nice sound and has some moments, but just not a cd/record I'd include in my collection.
I Love "That First Night" The best singer in the world forever.
