Stevie Woods has a natural talent he was singing before he could speak words. He would mimic what he heard on the radio also mimic the gutair when he had never seen one, no TV at that time, He was given a bum rap when he made his first album was released. Lets get together and help release some more of Stevie Woods. He is like Luther, his voice is one in a million. How do I know? I am his Mother. Let me hear from you.
In my opinion,Stevie Woods has never got the attenition he deserves in the "westcoast community" We ( I mean all us lovers of this genre) talk about different albums as great ones, but no one mentions the three albums by Stevie Woods. This is slick, delicate westcoastpop.Itīs sounds much like the Johnny Mathis album"Right From The Heart" from 1985,with one great difference.Stevie Woods sings much better than Mathis.Find them on LP, dust of your turntable and enjoy !
Not only did Stevie not get the attention he deserved, but neither did his "Westcoast" wife & baby, born in 1985, both of whom he abandoned when he fled to Europe, where he currently resides. To learn more, go to: myspace.com/cheriwoods
